Cancellation Policy
Bliss Pool Villas – Lake Worth Beach, Florida
We understand that plans can change. Because Bliss Pool Villas is a boutique property with limited availability, cancellations can significantly impact our ability to rebook dates. The policies below apply to all direct bookings unless otherwise stated in writing.
24-Hour Grace Period
We offer a 24-hour risk-free cancellation window for direct bookings.
- Guests may cancel within 24 hours of the original booking time for a full refund of payments made, provided the scheduled arrival date is more than 7 days away at the time of booking.
- The cancellation request must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of booking confirmation.
- The 24-hour grace period does not apply to reservations made within 7 days of arrival.
After the 24-hour grace period expires, the cancellation terms below apply.
Standard Reservations (1–27 Nights)
Payment Structure
- 25% deposit due at booking
- Remaining balance due 90 days before arrival
Standard Reservations (April–December)
Cancellation Terms
- 30+ days before arrival: 75% refund of total reservation amount.
- 15–29 days before arrival: 50% refund of total reservation amount.
- 14 days or less before arrival: Non-refundable.
No-shows and early departures: No refunds are issued for unused nights resulting from no-show or early departure.
Standard Reservations – Peak Season (January 1 – March 31)
Cancellation Terms
Due to extremely high seasonal demand:
- 30+ days before arrival: 50% refund of total reservation amount.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: Non-refundable.
No-shows and early departures: No refunds are issued for unused nights resulting from no-show or early departure.
Extended Stays (28+ Nights)
Reservations of 28 nights or more are considered extended stays and are subject to stricter terms.
Payment Structure
- 25% deposit due at booking
- Remaining balance due 90 days before arrival
Standard Extended Stay (April–December)
Cancellation Terms
- 60+ days before arrival: 50% refund of total reservation deposit amount plus any other balance.
- 59 days or less before arrival: Non-refundable.
After check-in: No refunds are issued for shortened stays or early departure. The full reservation balance remains due.
Peak Season Extended Stay (January 1 – March 31)
Cancellation Terms
- 90+ days before arrival: 50% refund of total reservation deposit amount.
- Less than 90 days before arrival: Non-refundable.
After check-in: No refunds are issued for shortened stays or early departure.
Holiday & Special Event Periods
Reservations that include major holidays or special events may be designated as non-refundable at the time of booking. Any special terms will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation.
Weather & Hurricane Policy
Florida’s tropical storm and hurricane season runs approximately June through November.
Refunds are not issued for weather events unless a mandatory evacuation order is issued for Lake Worth Beach by local government authorities.
If a mandatory evacuation order is issued during your stay, a prorated refund will be issued for unused nights. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment.
Travel Insurance Recommendation
We highly recommend that all guests purchase independent travel insurance. Travel insurance may cover:
- Illness or injury
- Flight cancellations
- Weather-related interruptions
- Family emergencies
- Employment changes
Bliss Pool Villas does not provide travel insurance.
Payment Processing Fees
In the event of a refundable cancellation, credit card processing fees that are non-refundable to us (including Stripe fees) may be deducted from the refund amount.
Agreement & Acknowledgment
By booking directly with Bliss Pool Villas and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy. Cancellation deadlines are based on the scheduled arrival date.
